[Misc] Lazy Sunday

Today was a pretty lazy day since I have had this on-again off-again headache for most of the day. I hung around either napping in bed or out on the patio watching CSI episodes.

At about 5p Don came around and we ran out to the "toy stores" (read Best Buy and CompUSA) where I got a set of clamshell speakers for my laptop and some rechargeable batteries to power them. I needed these because some of my video files do not have boosted audio so I have to jack up the volume. This in turn makes system sounds very loud so before I have either had to be in a quiet environment to use the laptop's internal speakers or shut down all IM software and such so I could use headphones (one IM really was obnoxious and made me deaf practically). Now I still disable IMs and such but I am not stuck having to use headphones at least. And I got a great deal on the batteries and charger.

I did get a piece of good news though. On my way into the apartment I ran into the guy who lives under my apartment. He happens to work in the office so I asked about the change in neighbors. He confirmed that the people with the sweet dogs did move out. But he told me that the hot cop was staying and had no plans to move. That made me very happy :D.

My plans for the rest of the evening is to shake the last vestiges of this headache and then in about an hour shower and get ready to go to the gym so I can start working out again. Headache or no, I am going so I can at least get some weight training in.
